This class develops the skills necessary to troubleshoot fume hood, ventilation, and temperature control functions through an in-depth understanding of Phoenix Controls Corporations’ Celeris 1 control system. Instruction, demonstration and hands-on student labs teach fundamental exhaust and supply airflow concepts on Accel-works digital variable airflow valves, thermostats and fume hood controls all interacting to control room ventilation.
Objective
To provide students the skills needed to properly operate the Phoenix Controls’ Celeris 1 product line and coordinate advanced technical support with the local Phoenix Controls’ representative. Students who successfully complete this course will receive Service Certification for Phoenix Controls’ Celeris 1 system.
Intended participants
Facility maintenance personnel responsible for operating or maintaining an installation of Celeris 1 equipment.

- Prerequisites: Phoenix will provide training materials and tools during this course. Familiarity with Windows and Excel is strongly recommended.
